Celebration of FEEM’s anniversary in Ciego de Ávila

With the commitment to be the first in the tasks of economic, political and social impact, and to do it with joy and responsibility, the members of the Federation of High School Students (FEEM) in Ciego de Ávila celebrated their day.

During the day, the more than 300 thousand members of that community, among other activities, held camping, generational exchanges, meetings with combatants, visits to historical sites and exhibitions.

In the Raúl Corrales Fornos Pedagogical School in the territory, the pre-university and polytechnic students lived a different day marked by the recognition of those who stand out and the splurge of cultural activities.

Speaking about the event, José Alberto Pérez Ruiz, who is in the twelfth grade, said that belonging to this organization is to be part of the transformations of the nation.

Full of challenges and the commitment to continue making history, the members of the FEEM in Ciego de Ávila celebrated the 52nd anniversary of the creation of their organization.

The Federation of High School Students was created on December 6, 1970, as part of the process of strengthening the mass organizations, in order to revitalize the student movement in that educational sector.
