Dr. Alberto Moronta Enrique, and Humberto Fleitas Portal, in their capacity as candidates for deputies to the Cuban Parliament for Majagua, began a program of visits to places of economic and social interest in the municipality.
The oil activity facilities, the sector from which Fleitas Portal, current president of the Municipal Assembly of People’s Power, comes, became the starting point of the tour where results and perspectives of each of the two groups located here were exposed.
In the unit that produces the aforementioned fuel and natural gas, analyst Aleido Acosta Hernández argued about the possibility of increasing delivery levels through the support offered by a foreign company, and the contribution of oil tankers in tasks as important as work community and sports activities.
Jorge Félix Matienzo Venegas, director of the oil services base business unit, referred to the actions of the group in order to satisfy the demands of the workers in the sector throughout the central region of the country, mainly in transportation and in the supply of food to workers canteens and recreation areas.
In the case of Dr. Alberto Moronta Enrique, director of the Antonio Luaces Iraola Provincial Hospital in Ciego de Ávila, in the presence of groups responsible for sponsoring communities, he was interested in learning about their contributions to the maternal and child program in order to reduce mortality rates.
During the tour of the candidates for deputies to the Cuban parliament through the avilanian southwest, the issue of the elections on March 26 was emphasized and they also visited the Sergio Pérez Castillo Pre-University Institute, health sector facilities, the Factory of Canned food, a recreational center and the II Congress Community.
