Avilanian students ensure electoral process

The members of the Federation of High School Students (FEEM) in Ciego de Ávila support the Cuban election process on March 26, through pleasant and transparent dialogue in neighborhoods, communities and workplaces.

During the plenary session of the Communist Party of Cuba in the Ciego de Ávila municipality, Imilka Almeida, a member of the FEEM secretariat at the IPU Ernesto Guevara, detailed the outreach work carried out on social networks and the protagonism of the boys who reach distant neighborhoods of the downtown, where they expressed the importance of a united vote.

In this sense, Raidel Palomino of the La Edad de Oro Pre-University Institute in this city, asserted that in the exchanges with the neighbors they achieve a deeper approach to the electoral system, by offering them detailed information on the vote.

The leaders of that student organization explained that they previously received extensive preparation by the authorities of the province for this task, which they carry out with pride.

In visits to homes and workplaces, issues related to the career of the candidates are also exchanged, especially the 23 nominated by the province for parliament.

During the PCC plenary in the municipality of Ciego de Ávila, German Ávila, director of that center, specified that the activities are carried out outside the school and affirmed that he felt proud of the students, who carry out the activities with great creativity, enthusiasm and responsibility.
