Avilanian computer scientists are committed to technological innovation

The specialists of the Joven Club de Computación y Electrónica in Ciego de Ávila are committed to technological innovation, with the awarding of the Grand Prize to Jandy Jesús Sánchez, for his work El Volante Casero de PC, in which he demonstrated creativity and talent.

The above transcended during the Infoclub 2025 Event, held in the province, where second place went to Viviano Moyano Trujillo, with his project Domotic Room with Arduino and Recycling, an innovative proposal that unites technology and environmental care.

The third prize went to Fernando Quincose, with his work «Generative Artificial Intelligence as a tool for improving educational work in the youth club», while Edgar Jiménez received a special mention for his dedication and effort in the projects presented.

Ramón Carrazana Martínez, director of Joven Club in Ciego de Ávila, congratulated the participants for the quality of their research and assured that the organisation’s collective reaffirms its commitment to technological training, as it strengthens the development of the digital economy.

In the opinion of Moyano Trujillo, director of the Territorial Control Office of the Ministry of Communication (OTCMC) in the province, the competition with relevant category demonstrates the projections of local talent and progress in key areas for the future.

During Infoclub 2025, conferences, workshops and exhibition fairs are held that contribute to creativity and learning, with the participation of children and adolescents, who showed their interest in topics related to cybersecurity.
