The University of Medical Sciences Doctor José Pérez Assef of Ciego de Avila, started the celebration program for the XV anniversary of its foundation with the Artificial Intelligence Workshop applied to Health in the field of Doctoral training.

Experts from the Ignacio Agramonte University of Medical Sciences of Camagüey participated in this activity as special guests.

The Nurses of the Future program was also organized in the Venezuela Libre elementary school, within the framework of the National Nursing Day and to encourage the vocation for the noble profession.

The Doctor José Pérez Assef University of Medical Sciences in Ciego de Avila was evaluated as Certified by the National Accreditation Board and is a reference for its scientific contributions and in the training of professionals in different health specialties, both Cuban and foreign.

More than 15,000 young people have graduated from this medical institution in Avila, trained to take on different services and continue to excel with higher scientific degrees.
