All life in your ear

In the magical world of radio, November is a special month for Avila radio broadcasters. Radio Morón, the oldest radio station in the province of Ciego de Avila, was born on November 19, 1949, marking the beginning of a tradition that has lasted until today.

To celebrate this important anniversary, a parade is organised to start the festivities on November 14th, extending until Tuesday, November 19th. This year, the special dedication goes to Elizabeth Iparraguirre, an emblematic voice of the radio plant, and the founding programme Meridiano Campesino.

During the week of celebration, various activities take place such as theoretical events, meetings with listeners, the popular Radio Carnival and, as a culmination, the awaited Anniversary Gala held at the Teatro Reguero in the city from 9 pm.

In this atmosphere of joy and camaraderie, Avila’s radio broadcasters get together to remember their history and celebrate their passion for radio. It is a moment of magic and fantasy, where creativity and talent come together to pay tribute to a tradition that endures over time. Happy anniversary, Radio Morón! May the successes continue and may the airwaves continue to be full of joy and entertainment (Author Alfredo Fernández Arcia).
