To begin a stage that requires solid work from the base to create happiness, the XII Congress of the Union of Young Communists concluded in Majagua, after two days of activities.

The meeting, which had a pilot character because it was the first to be held in the province of Ciego de Ávila, was attended by the official of the Central Committee Sergio Fernández Piloto, the member of the National Bureau of the UJC Yalier Cobo Calvo and the first secretary of the youth organization in the Avilanian province of Nailín Machado Ávila.

Food production, cadre politics, the work of the Martí studies movement and the timely and intelligent use of social networks were part of the debates in which the essential function of the Base Committees was revealed.

Also in this area, the new Municipal Bureau of the UJC headed by Alexis Moya Rodríguez was presented, while Yuliet Díaz Gómez, outgoing First Secretary and who will occupy other responsibilities at the provincial level, received the recognition of her colleagues and the Political and Mass Organizations Of the territory.
