By giving workshops, talks and conferences; visits to workplaces, and the holding of the Open Doors event at different universities, strengthened vocational training and professional guidance for twelfth grade students in Ciego de Ávila.
Vivian Rodríguez, head of the Pre-university educational level in this province, reported that talks are held related to the different careers of the plan of vacants, where they are studied and how many are offered on average, in addition to showing how the cut has ended in previous courses.
The leader added that the meetings explain the benefits of being winners of provincial and national contests, as well as the options offered by the Ministry of the Interior (MININT) and the Revolutionary Armed Forces (FAR).
In this sense, Yordanis Marín Mejías, professor at the Manuel Ascunce Domenech university campus in Ciego de Ávila, reported that the center received students from the Raúl Cervantes Pre-University Institute (IPU) interested in Speech Therapy and Special Education careers, who met , among other data, the study plan and the employment profile.
Vocational training and professional guidance for twelfth grade students in Ciego de Ávila are also strengthened with visits to the Bio-plant Center and the Provincial Prosecutor’s Office, among other activities.
