Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro ratified the willingness to build consensus through the call for a great dialogue, with the participation of all the actors that today make up the national socio-political spectrum.
In the continuation of the electoral campaign throughout the country as candidate of the Gran Polo Patriotico Simon Bolivar, Maduro announced last night in the northeastern state of Barinas, that if he wins on 28 July he will sign a first decree to convene a great national economic, social, political and cultural dialogue.
Before thousands of his followers in this region, controlled by the opposition, the president said that the purpose is to «unite the criteria of all Venezuelans» to think about the future of the Bolivarian Republic.
He assured that «only we can do it, because we do not hate and we deeply love life».
The president said that after the 28 July elections, more changes and transformations will come for the country, and assured that he is mentally and physically prepared «to begin a great stage and bring peace, stability and national unity to Venezuela».
The only ones who can guarantee peace and an independent project of growth and renewal of the country are us, he said.
On the plans for violence announced by the extreme right, the President, who is seeking re-election and his third consecutive term in office, asserted that no one «is going to steal our right to peace».
We have an appointment with the homeland, with history, with our family, he said, and called on the people of Barinas to ensure peace in the face of the great victory of «that blessed night».
He said that once the victory is confirmed by the National Electoral Council «take to the streets to celebrate in peace, with joy and to sing long live Venezuela, my beloved homeland».
The pro-government candidate said that the people of Barinas will not fail Commander Hugo Chávez (1954-2013) and emphasised that the victory on July 28 will be a tribute and a gift for the Bolivarian leader’s 70th birthday.
In his intense campaign, Maduro held another rally on Wednesday in the city of San Cristóbal, in the state of Táchira, bordering Colombia, where he mentioned the plans denounced by paramilitaries from the neighbouring country and pointed out that the ultra-right that he hates «wants to bring violence in July».

The surnames and the usual haters want to bring the violence of the paramilitaries to Venezuela, he pointed out, and stressed that now the humble people of San Antonio del Táchira value what we have done for peace.
While the pro-government candidate continued his electoral tour of the Venezuelan plains in the last few days, his other nine opponents are also contacting their supporters in the cities and towns, and giving statements to the media, until the 25th, when the campaign ends.
