With the traditional Serenade to the Rooster, marking 44 years since its restoration, the Morón Culture Week will begin at midnight on this May Day, with new initiatives being incorporated, according to the directors of the sector.
The week will run from 2 to 8 May, with contributions from all the cultural institutions of this municipality, and includes a pilgrimage to the cemetery to pay tribute in remembrance of the excellent dancer Viviam Díaz Guedes.
The programme includes the traditional Campesino Dance, the opening of the exhibition «My Rooster» with works by various authors, and a cultural identity event at the Caonabo Museum in this city.
Additionally, during Morón Culture Week, a meeting will be held with the Music Club «La Década Junto a ella Vivirás».
A collective birthday celebration has been planned for young people from the Raúl Gómez Special School who are turning fifteen, to be held at the Reverbero project.
Casino dance rounds, presentations of variety shows, and several other activities will take place during this Morón Culture Week.
