The economic, financial and commercial blockade imposed by the United States for more than 60 years greatly affects the country. The productions in the Cuban companies are threatened by the lack of raw materials due to the lack of financing, cut consequently, by the coercive measures that directly influence the country.
The Renewable Energy Company, Rensol, from the Avilanian municipality of Morón, is one of the Cuban facilities that works day after day to meet production needs despite the constant difficulties and the global economic crisis.
The entity has not received raw material for approximately two years, it is difficult to finance the operations due to the financial repercussions that exist in these operations that Cuba mounts abroad.
According to statements by Arley González Escalante, director of Rensol, the institution focuses on seeking alternatives: ¨At this moment we are ready to submit to the Executive Council and Ministers the constitution of an economic and international action contract with the Panamanian company Cuex S. A, which will provide working capital and finance raw materials to cover national demand in the residential and industrial sectors, while we will provide the factory, equipment and personnel ¨
¨In addition, the export of solar heaters to the Dominican Republic is planned as part of the international economic contracting, which will bring benefits in technological aspects, production and in obtaining foreign currency from exports¨, added González Escalante. (Katherine Ruiz Robaina)
