The Festival of Amateur Artists of the University of Medical Sciences Doctor José Assef Yara of Ciego de Ávila, will take place on Thursday 5 June.

The Casa de la Cultura «José Inda Hernández» of the Ciudad de los Portales, is the venue for the event in the afternoon.

The amateur artists from the different faculties will show their performance in the different manifestations, both individually and in groups.

The young people of Avila who are studying various medical specialities also cultivate art as part of their spiritual and integral formation, hence their concerns are channelled and these festivals are held.
