Activities in homage to the famous Cuban novelist Alejo Carpentier Valmont on the 120th anniversary of his birth are taking place this Thursday in the cultural institutions of the Avila municipality of Morón, as part of the permanent remembrance of the author of the masterpiece El siglo de las luces (The Century of Enlightenment).

Tertulias, talks and literary meetings are taking place to testify to the perennial admiration for the creator of El recurso del método, from whom we learn with his rediscovery of the American world always in counterpoint with the rest of the universe.

In the same way, the cultural journalist, the cameraman and the writer who used to convince through his good words and in his right dimension are remembered in the media of the territory.
