Turiguanó livestock farm advocates for livestock recovery

The Genetic Livestock Company Turiguanó, located in the north of the Avileño municipality of Morón, encourages livestock recovery as a component aimed at the contribution and development of the local economy, for which it is intensifying its management through alternatives and practical solutions to comprehensively expand its social purpose.

Its working group, imbued with the reproduction and development of Santa Gertrudis breed cattle, the obtaining of specimens of high genetic value for artificial insemination and the commercialisation of the cuts of these animals in the tourism sector, exercises good practices and promotes daily tasks.

To carry out this work, the company employs around 400 workers, including managers, executives, specialists, technicians and workers directly linked to livestock farming and production processes, with the responsibility of safeguarding the more than 4 000 animals that make up the herd.

Hence the importance of the Empresa Pecuaria Genética Turiguanó in the substitution of imports, a result that works in favour of economic and social development, and that should contribute to the economic recovery of the country while increasing its contribution to the achievement of food sovereignty.
