A temporary exhibition called I am a sincere man, dedicated to the 172nd anniversary of the birth of José Martí, is part of the exhibitions of the Caonabo museum in the city of Morón, Ciego de Avila, dedicated to highlighting the life and work of Cuba’s National Hero.

Circles of friends of the cultural institution are presented in the hall with the consequent exchange about Martí’s work and its validity in each one of the edges of the society that compels the people to continue with the beautiful work.

Above all, students from the different educational institutions of the territory make guided visits to the museum, as part of the activities contemplated in the day of homage to José Martí.

At the same time, in the schools of the municipality, competitions and exchanges about the life and work of the man who considered education as a tree and in this respect assured that a seed is sown and opens up into many branches. (Author: Carlos G. González Ruiz)
