From Wednesday 14 August until Sunday, the traditional parrandas de barrios take place in Chambas, a village festival considered by UNESCO as intangible cultural heritage of humanity.
Congas, fireworks, food and drink stands, areas for the little ones, tents and the awaited ride of the monumental triumphal floats of La Norte and Narcisa are among the surprises already announced and duly prepared.
According to reports, this year’s works allude to the cultural history of Europe, while defying limitations, they retain their size, magnificence and stunning illumination.
