During the plenary meeting, held at the Tourism Training Center, the mayor of the municipality, Yorkis Navarro Pérez, announced that the City of the Rooster closed the first month of the year with favorable results among which 168 percent of compliance in the income plan, which corresponds to 42 million pesos, and the income related to the property tax that amounts to just over five million.

The member of the Central Committee of the Party and its first secretary in Ciego de Ávila, Liván Izquierdo Alonso, who chaired the meeting, called for optimizing the contracting of services in the state sector in order to reduce expenses, even when they are planned. The highest party leader in the province also called for increased production and rational use of all cultivable areas for this purpose.

Regarding the assurance of the electoral process that will culminate on March 26 with the general elections, the president of the Municipal Electoral Commission, Odelaisy Hernández Cabezas, explained that it is planned to work in 155 schools, of which 130 ordinary and 25 special, for which I already has the complete and trained electoral structures, while working on updating the lists of voters.
