Dedicated to the 71st anniversary of the glorious Moncada heroic deed, the Rafael Morales y González Pedagogical School in the city of Morón will hold a graduation ceremony on 11 July for 156 students who are completing their studies in different specialities at the institution.

The students who will graduate in this course belong to the ten municipalities of the province of Ciego de Avila and will receive their corresponding diplomas as Primary, Special Education, Early Childhood, English and Artistic Education Teachers, in the specialities of music, dance, theatre and Plastic Arts.

As a special feature, these young people completed a period of teaching practice for a period of approximately six months, in the last year of their degree, which helped to cover the needs of teaching coverage in different educational institutions in the province of Avila.

According to Miriam Martínez Torres, Deputy Director of the Rafael Morales Pedagogical School in Morón, this centre will successfully complete the 2023-2024 academic year, with a high enrolment of more than 500 students, despite the challenges that characterised the teaching period.
