The Electrical Union forecasts a 1 597 MW load for the night-time peak.

The Electrical Union estimates an availability of 1 723 MW and a maximum demand of 3 250 MW for the night-time peak hour, for a deficit of 1 527 MW, so that, if the forecast conditions are maintained, an effect of 1 597 MW is forecast for this time of day.

The recovery of 50 MW in distributed generation engines that are out of service due to fuel shortages is also estimated for this timetable, as well as the entry of four engines from the Patana de Melones, with 68 MW.

At 7:00 a.m., the availability of the SEN was 1 605 MW, while demand reached 2 250 MW, resulting in an impact of 669 MW. By midday, it is estimated that 950 MW will be affected.

Among the main incidents, the Electrical Union mentioned a breakdown at CTE Felton and the maintenance of unit 6 of CTE Mariel, unit 2 of CTE Santa Cruz, units 3 and 4 of CTE Cienfuegos and unit 5 of Renté.

There are 438 MW unavailable due to thermal limitations.

Due to fuel shortages, 86 distributed generation plants are out of service (574 MW), nine engines at the Moa site (129 MW), five engines at Patana de Regla (45 MW), and four engines at Patana de Melones (68 MW), for a total of 816 MW affected by this cause.

Yesterday, the service was affected by a capacity deficit from 5:19 a.m. and remained affected throughout the early hours of this morning.

The maximum effect was 1 562 MW at 19:10 hours, coinciding with the hour of maximum demand, and higher than planned because the engines of the Patana de Melones did not come on stream.
