It is the aim of the Avilanian authorities, together with the sectors of Commerce and Gastronomy, Culture and INDER, to guarantee healthy recreation for children, adolescents, young people and the population in general in the last month of the summer period.

Among the proposals continue the excursions, from the municipalities, to the beaches of the Jardines del Rey destination with excursions in the hotel network, as well as to the Bases de Campismo Popular Cayo Coco, El Charcazo, Los Naranjos, Boquerón and Punta Alegre.

With guaranteed water and safety for bathers, the different areas continue to be open at this stage, where the Majagua River traditionally attracts hundreds of holidaymakers, as well as the swimming pools of different facilities.

At the same time and as part of the recreational programme for this summer, a group of schools in Ciego de Avila remain open with games and courses for students.

The city’s parks, the Zoo and the Laguna de la Leche are places that traditionally increase their offerings in this period of intense heat, when the people take advantage of their holidays.
