A Scientific Conference on Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine will be held on Friday 20th of this month in the city of Ciego de Avila, starting at 9:00 am.

The presentation of medical research and the exchange of experiences between doctors from Avila will be the highlight of the scientific activity, which will include a master conference entitled Practical Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Intensive Care, to be given by Doctor in Medical Sciences Volfredo Camacho Aseff.

The Avilanian Chapter of Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine will also be renewing its board of directors for a new cycle of work.

The Cuban Society of Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine was founded on January 12, 2008, with the aim of improving the National Health System and stimulating the development of teaching and research to offer a service of excellence.
