Students and workers in the education sector in Ciego de Ávila, as in all of Cuba, will enjoy the week of school recess for the Triumph of the Revolution, from December 26 to January 3.

Through her Twitter account, the head of the sector, Ena Elsa Velázquez Cobiella, also announced that the children’s circles will continue working, except on holidays and non-working days.

These indications by Velázquez Cobiella coincide with recent statements made by Prime Minister Manuel Marrero, during the X Ordinary Session of the National Assembly of People’s Power (ANPP), when he informed that on January 3, 2023, work activities would recess.

For this purpose, Prime Minister’s Decree 75 of December 5, 2022 was issued and the regulation that will implement it is being prepared by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security.
