Statistics Reveal High Disapproval of Trump

At the close of September the disapproval level of the US president, Donald Trump, reached 57 percent, influenced mostly by a series of policies now seen as unpopular among voters.

The most recent tally showed that the ruler’s approval reached its lowest level to date among the electorate, according to the survey by the Marquette University Law School in Milwaukee, which published its latest figures the day before.

The current statistics indicate that the overall rejection is about five points higher compared to the 52 percent who rejected him at the start of the year.

In the Marquette research, 43 percent are in line with Trump’s management, similar to what a tally by The New York Times and Siena University determined.

An analysis of the opinion poll, published by the Times, indicates that Trump’s efforts to send National Guard troops to major cities, sanction media, and pressure universities and private companies are unpopular among voters.

However, the continuous stream of policies and tactics has not further weakened the overall image of the Republican leader among his supporters, but on the contrary, he continues with the support of approximately nine out of every ten voters from his party.

The loyalty of his electoral base has been one of Trump’s strengths. When he was still a candidate and nearly a hundred federal and state charges for different crimes weighed upon him, they trusted him while some observers thought that in the midst of that scenario his political career had come to an end.
