Aimed at achieving greater environmental hygiene, the construction of solid waste collection sites with a capacity of more than 200 cubic meters for the deposit of solid waste is being carried out in Ciego de Ávila.
This was announced by Luis Alberto Pérez Olivares, director of Communal Services in this territory, who added that the first four works are being carried out in the Indalecio Montejo popular council.
The prefabricated deposits have a height of up to one meter and 60 centimeters, which allows for less exposure of the waste to the environment.
Among the advantages offered by these collection points are the collection of a larger amount of waste and greater harmony with the environment, since the area is transformed with flower boxes and ornamental plants.
