The social workers of Ciego de Ávila signed their Code of Ethics this Sunday, aware of the importance of their management to help those most in need.

The central José Martí Park in the avilanian capital was the setting for the signing of those whom Fidel called «The Doctors of the Soul.»

Lázaro Acosta Pérez, who read the oath of social workers, emphasized the importance of prevention work in each Popular Council.

On the 23rd anniversary of the creation of the social workers program, a group of founders were also recognized, whose systematic work contributes to transforming the lives of not only individuals, but also families and vulnerable communities.
