To the rhythm of «Guayabita del Pinar», a well-known Cuban musical piece performed by the sextet of the José Martí Brigade, the preparatory seminar for the 2024-2025 school year concluded in Majagua, as far as the municipal structure is concerned.

As part of the programme dedicated to the Palestinian people, the following topics were discussed, among others: the strategies for the development of the municipal education department and aspects aimed at perfecting the political-ideological work in the face of contemporary challenges.

The participants, representing all levels of education, also spoke about the challenges and perspectives of preventive work in the current context and about vocational training and vocational guidance, as well as research work.

Master Zaily Pérez Ulloa, general director of education in the southwest of Avila, said that this first meeting, which lasted three days, fulfilled her expectations and created the basis for the seminar to be held shortly for the directors of educational institutions and subsequently at the school level, which will allow the territory to be declared ready for the start of the 2024-2025 school year next September.
