The best Basic Business Unit of its kind in the country, located in the Avilanian municipality of Ciro Redondo and belonging to the Ferroazuc Sugar Railroad Company, is ready to start the 2022-2023 harvest.

Juan Luis Mora Tamayo, director of that center, informed that they finished the repair stage of the 21 diesel locomotives and more than 300 wagons ready for the transportation to their respective destinations of sugar cane, sugar and honey produced in the sugar mills of the province of Ciego de Ávila.

The Master of Science also emphasized that the collective has the commitment to ratify, among its most significant achievements in the sugar industry, to maintain at zero the indicator of lost time in the transportation of cargoes.

This achievement has been possible due to the quality of repairs, the care of the equipment by the crews and the talent of the innovators who have turned their work center into a unit of national reference in the manufacture and recovery of spare parts.

The collective of the Railroad transporters Ferroazuc, with its business management in the municipality of Ciro Redondo, is approaching the coming sugar season with efficiency in all its economic and productive indicators, on the day of decisive effort in honor of the 64th anniversary of the Revolution.
