With the presentation of innovative experiences that contribute to improving the quality of teaching, the Provincial Scientific Event «Game and Society» was successfully held on May 11, sponsored by the Association of Pedagogues of Cuba in its Ciego de Ávila branch.

The Relevant category was obtained, among others, by the work titled «I learn by playing with my books», by the authors Irma Rodríguez and Wilfredo Osuna; and the status of Outstanding was granted to Ana Guerra who presented an investigation related to «Polyrhythm», while «El canto de la guitarra» by Lianni Hernández, Art Instructor obtained a Mention.

Through the work in commissions, more than 60 works of excellent quality were presented, all related to playful activity, role-playing and traditional games, and the municipality of Ciego de Ávila was also recognized as “Gaming Capital 2023”.

The participants in the contest also enjoyed magisterial conferences, exhibitions of teaching aids and the artistic magic of children.

The Provincial Scientific Event «Game and Society» that is part of the «Light and Joy in the Community» project, directed by the Doctor of Science Inés Companioni, was held at the Águedo Morales Reina Special School in Ciego de Avila.
