The member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and its first Secretary in Ciego de Ávila, Liván Izquierdo Alonso, held a meeting with directors of the municipality of Majagua to evaluate the current situation of the territory
The analysis of work carried out in the Cine Nieves of this town was also attended by the Vice Governor Hiorvanys Espinosa Pérez, among other leaders where the reasons why this municipality has not ratified the Latir Avileño condition this year, focused on the issues of the discussions.
In this regard, advances could be seen in relation to previous months regarding mercantile production, net sales and social economic development, indicators that are still insufficient given the accumulated losses that exceed 90 million pesos.
In the same way, the situation of the crime with the greatest affectations in the theft and slaughter of large cattle, the self-management of the entities and the productive reserves of the territory were treated. An exhaustive control was announced to start immediately to MIPIMES, the Local Development Project and land holders who only keep a part of them in exploitation.
The main agreement of the meeting, which was attended by representatives of all sectors, was to fight in days of decisive effort without wasting a second so that Majagua revitalizes its economy and resumes the status of Latir Avileño and with this, ensure that Ciego de Ávila is in good conditions to be a prominent province in the National Emulation in homage to the 70th Anniversary of the Assaults on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Barracks.
