The Basic Business Unit (UEB) for the Recovery of the Jardines del Rey tourist destination promotes recycling activities with a view to satisfying the demand for raw materials in the national and international markets.

In 2024, they have collected several tons of recyclable products, thus increasing dividends and avoiding the harmful effects of waste on marine-coastal ecosystems.

Aluminium cans, bottles, cardboard and plastic knobs, resulting from social indiscipline on the beaches and dumping from vessels transiting the seas to the north, are among the main materials collected.

In the Jardines del Rey destination, they promote collection in landfills, where it is possible to obtain considerable volumes of raw materials, in spite of having contracted all that can be generated in hotel, extra-hotel and support facilities for tourist operations. (Redacción Informativa)
