Municipal Conferences of the CTC begin tomorrow in Ciego de Avila

The more than 3,400 members of the different trade unions in the municipality of Bolivia will be represented by 50 delegates at the meeting that will initiate the process of the Municipal Conferences of the 22nd Congress of the Cuban Workers’ Central, in the province of Ciego de Avila.

In the meeting scheduled for next Friday, the 10th, there will be debates on the union’s functioning, the fulfillment of the economic plans, the fight against crime, the production of the municipal self-sufficiency of food, and other issues analyzed in the assemblies of the 109 union sections.

Also in that locality known as Cunagua, located in the northeast of the territory of Avila, the behavior of the efficiency indicators in fundamental entities such as the Basic Business Unit of the Fishing Industry and the Agroindustrial Grain Company will be analyzed, the latter with the investment of a rice dryer to be put into operation by the end of this month.

Yudelkys Barrero Escobar, general secretary of the CTC in Bolivia, informed that as a tribute to the upcoming trade union event, the collectives of Fishing, the grain-producing entity, and the Eugenio Marcelino Cuellar Basic Secondary School were stimulated. The latter will be the scenario of one of the first Conferences in the country of the 22nd Congress of the CTC, which will begin today in the Havana municipality of Cotorro.
