The promotion of 11 new assistant professors and two full professors at the Doctor José Assef Yara University of Medical Sciences in Ciego de Ávila, raises the quality of teaching at this important institution.

For the first time, the tribunals for promotion to higher categories were held at the university, as part of its pedagogical projection.
