During the ordinary session of the Municipal Assembly of People’s Power in the Avileño municipality of Primero de Enero, Raúl Herrera Pérez was re-elected president of the Electoral Council.

After obtaining the maximum number of votes possible, the official will continue to hold this position, due to his outstanding trajectory and results during his past mandate.

Daymi Zamora Arteaga, First Secretary of the Party in the Violet territory, exhorted Herrera Pérez to overcome the challenges added in the current situations, as well as to maintain his commitment to the people who elected him.
