The Cuban Baseball Federation and the National Baseball Commission convened a press conference today to address issues related to the III Elite League of Cuban Baseball.

The meeting with professionals from various media that will cover the selective tournament will be at 14:00, local time, in the Adolfo Luque hall of the Latin American Stadium in the capital.

In addition to finalising details about the competition, scheduled to begin on 15 March, the directors will discuss issues related to the national and international baseball calendar for the year 2025.

In a second note circulated to the media by the communications department, it was reported that credentials will be handed out on 3 and 4 March at the photography department located in the Ciudad Deportiva to the professionals who will be following the event.

The Elite League of Cuban Baseball will consist of the six best placed teams in the last National Series, reinforced with 10 players from the teams that did not qualify.
The teams from Las Tunas, Pinar del Río, Granma, Industriales, Ciego de Ávila and Santiago de Cuba will fight for the crown in this third edition.

The reigning champions, Matanzas, left the throne empty after failing to qualify, finishing in eighth place.
