In the presence of Osmaida Hernández Beleño, member of the National Secretary of the Federation of Cuban Women, the Plenary Session of the Provincial Committee of that organization was held in Ciego de Ávila.

During the meeting, Odelsys Valcárcel Pérez, the highest representative of the FMC in the avilanian capital, gave report of the functioning of the membership with emphasis on the growth, the work with young people and the policy of leaders, parameter with results to the previous stage.

Reina Torres Pérez, member of that Committee and Deputy to the Cuban Parliament, in her speech highlighted how much the comrades can do for the strengthening of the Revolution and assured that 2023 will be a year in which they will continue beating for the people.

The election of the pre-candidates for deputies to the National Assembly of People’s Power was part of the meeting, in which 65 valuable professionals from different sectors of the economic, political and social life of the territory were nominated.

In the conclusions of the Plenary Session of the Provincial Committee of the FMC, the member of the National Secretary of the organization, congratulated the avilanian women on the occasion of the new anniversary of the Revolution and called on them to strengthen the work in the transformation of the communities.
