An official reception was held on Monday at the provincial teaching hospital Doctor Antonio Luaces Iraola, in Ciego de Ávila, for young medical graduates who are now beginning studies in different specialties.
With the category of residents, these health professionals will begin training as gynecologists, obstetricians, surgeons, pediatricians and intensivists, among other specialties.
Dr. Alberto Moronta Enrique, director of the avilanian hospital, welcomed the young doctors and received them with the satisfaction of training doctors of a higher scientific level.
During the activity, recognition was given to outstanding residents who are already successfully completing various medical specialties.
