With a tribute to the deceased historian, composer and cultural promoter José Manuel García Delgado (El Chino), the thirty-ninth edition of the Daniel Cruz Cosa Music Creator Festival began this Friday in the municipality of Venezuela.
The dance facility El sol te toca dressed up in its best clothes to welcome authors and performers from all over the province, as well as an audience eager to enjoy the talent of the amateur artists’ movement.
José Manuel García Delgado (El Chino) not only created this competitive contest, but also founded the Okay dance music group in order to rescue the cultural traditions of the Haitian settlements.
During the first night of the thirty-ninth edition of the Festival del Creador Musical Daniel Cruz Cosa, twelve works were presented in competition, of which the finalists will be announced this Saturday night.
