The awarding of the children’s contest «Every drop counts» and an expo-fair where the main innovations of the companies and units of the hydraulic sector are shown closed the event for World Water Day in the province of Ciego de Ávila.
Among the instruments exposed by the specialists of the Hydraulic Exploitation Company, a lever meter stands out, to measure the water level, and the barometer and the conductivity meter, to qualify the quality of the vital liquid and its salinity.
In addition, representatives of the Aqueduct and Sewerage Company, and Ciegoplast, as well as the local development projects Servtes and Ecoagua participated in the expo-fair, all with teams aimed at promoting development and humanizing the man´s work.
Yadami Fuentes Ayup, Superior Territorial Specialist of the Provincial Delegation of Hydraulic Resources, reported that 65 students from different schools in the community participated in the children’s contest «Every drop counts», in the modalities of painting, poetry and comics, and 21 were awarded prizes.
