Moron parks to be restored in honour of 26th of July

The restoration of the Agramonte and Las Madres parks, in the city of Morón, Ciego de Avila, is part of the tasks proposed by the Directorate of Communal Services in that locality in salute to the National Rebellion Day, informed Yorqui Navarro Pérez, municipal mayor.

The official announced that, in addition to the maintenance of the components and green areas of these emblematic sites in the Ciudad del Gallo, the capital repair of micro-parks located in vulnerable communities, including Santa Bárbara, La Serrana, El Paraíso, Edén, and El Fajardo, is planned.

Navarro Pérez stressed that, since it became known that Morón will host the provincial activities on July 26th in Ciego de Ávila, multiple actions aimed at improving the environment, cleanliness, and environmental sanitation, such as the collection and elimination of micro-dumps, have been carried out.

During these days, the workers of Communal Services are also working on the completion of the lighting and the repair of the electrical system of the funeral parlor of the municipal capital, which will contribute to improving the services provided in that facility.

The Moronense mayor added that they are implementing other strategies that involve the communities, to maintain hygiene in the northern municipality, one of the most worrying difficulties due to the low technical availability and the decrease in human capital for sanitation work.
