Once again the people of Morón showed their sympathy and preference for the bolero, during two nights when local vocalists pleased the audience with the interpretation of romantic melodies.
Noches de Boleros Jorge Nilo Marín in memoriam, was the space where a dozen performers, such as Lucy Safonts, Nelson Mora, Ailso Echevarría, José Carlos, Alain Poveda, Raisel Rodríguez and Dayibi Luna, overflowed with feelings as they vocalised well-known numbers of this popular musical genre.
With the emotions that an event of this category generates, the presenter Anelis Rodríguez Morales, opened a parenthesis in the parade of boleristas, to welcome the little members of La Colmenita de Romerillo, who from their chairs added their applause to those of the audience.
Resounding boleros, such as Alma con alma, interpreted by Belarmino Quiñones; Contigo aprendí, in the voice of Lien Piloto; Sombras, beautifully in the voice of Raisel Rodríguez and Lo que me gusta de ti by Rey Michel, among others, were heard in the Reverbero project, from the stage in front of the Teatro Reguero.
In these Bolero Nights, Pepe Sánchez, the man from Santiago who gave voice to the first bolero, was remembered, with Nelson Mora as the guest.
A fantastic closing was in charge of Lucy Safonts, with her incomparable voice, saying goodbye to Dos Noches de Boleros, and confirming that in the City of the Rooster «the voice of my bolero will never die». (Author: Leonel Iparraguirre González)
