In honor of February 14, Valentine’s Day, the literature section of the cultural sector in the municipality of Majagua is calling for entries for its «Poesías de Amor 2024» (Love Poems 2024) contest.

The event, which is usually part of a program of activities dedicated to the most universal sentiment, is aimed at adult writers from the southwest of the municipality, who must use a pseudonym that identifies both the works and the sealed envelope with the author’s data.

Writers can compete with poems in which love for a partner is the central theme and must submit them (no more than 3) by February 10, directly to the Casa de Cultura la Edad de Oro, in the town of Majagua, Paseo Martí # 14, CP 67700.

The election of the works for the contest «Poesías de Amor 2024» will be in charge of specialized personnel in the literary activity and the winners will be announced in the Café Cantante space, on February 13, the eve of such a significant date.
