Iran Strikes Back with Bombardments on US Infrastructure in the Middle East

Iran’s Revolutionary Guard launched ballistic missiles and drones between 2 and 3 am this Sunday (local time) against eight «important infrastructures» of the United States in the region, in response to Washington’s latest military aggressions against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Iran’s attacks were directed against the facilities of the Ali Al Salem air base in Kuwait, used by the US together with the Kuwaiti Air Force, and the headquarters of the US Navy’s Fifth Fleet at the Mina Salman port in the Bahraini capital.

In a statement, the Revolutionary Guard accused the «aggressive enemy» of having attacked five coastal positions of its country this morning under the pretext of Iranian forces’ actions regarding the passage of «an unauthorised vessel.»

Likewise, it asserted that from that moment on, it will act with greater force than before against ships that infringe the rules established by Tehran for transit through the Strait of Hormuz.

«Any aggression by the enemy, under any pretext, will receive a forceful response, even if the attacks are directed against less important targets, as occurred last night and tonight,» it declared, stressing that the violation of the ceasefire contravenes the first clause of the memorandum of understanding and «will entail the total suspension of all processes.»
