The Cultural Station of Linea and 18, in Havana, will host today and until June 15 the National Crafts Fair Art for Dad, which will be held in all provinces of the country.
An article in Tribuna de La Habana reports that 122 national exhibitors, 58 of them belonging to non-governmental organizations, and seven from Mexico, India and Peru, will show their creations in that space.
A variety of handicrafts such as footwear, textiles, goldsmithery, household products and gastronomic offers will be available to the public at the exhibition site.
On June 16, the Cuban Fund for Cultural Goods (FCBC), the institution organizing the event, will donate several products made by its artisans to Havana’s homes for the elderly, in accordance with the policy of attention to vulnerable sectors carried out by that entity.
