With a variety of dishes, the Paraíso restaurant in the city of Ciego de Ávila, joined the neighborhood gastronomy in the Roberto Rivas Fraga Popular Council, as part of the actions developed due to the exceptional situation of the electric power system in the country.
Berleidys Miranda Castillo, deputy administrator of this unit, informed that more than 900 rations are sold daily, at reasonable prices, with offers such as rice with other products, beef hash, croquettes, eggs, sausages and broth.
Lázara Irys Hernández Tocoronte, delegate of the 108th district of this demarcation, located to the south of the city of Ciego de Ávila, said that the option is well received by the population at times when, due to the prolonged interruptions in the electric service, it is difficult to cook food.
Another praiseworthy aspect is the quality of the preparation of the different dishes, an alternative for the family that must be maintained in the neighborhoods to help feed the people.
