The extraordinary Administration Council held in Majagua, chaired by Livan Izquierdo Alonso, First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba in Ciego de Ávila, encouraged achieving greater satisfaction of the population.
The member of the Central Committee also recognized that this territory is making progress in meeting a group of productive indicators, which is not a reason to feel complacent but rather one more reason to intensify tasks aimed at increasing results, including the production of beef milk and tomato cultivation.
These analyzes were also attended by Governor Alfre Menéndez Pérez and Vice Governor Hiorvanys Espinosa Pérez, who argued the need to know the real demands of the municipality with the aim of working to achieve the necessary production levels.
Through the report offered by Mariela González Hayes, Mayor of the territory, progress was made known in crops such as bananas and cassava, the possibilities that tomato producers will have during the next campaign, in which they will be paid 2,100 pesos per quintal of the demanded vegetable, he also specified that all the UEBs in the gastronomy sector have the status of profitable.
In this area, Saily Pérez Ulloa, Municipal Director of Education, recognized the contributions to agriculture of Basic Secondary and Middle School students in the mobilizations from school to the countryside; Meanwhile, Mayuly Marrero Rodríguez, Director of Labor and Social Security, argued for attention to vulnerable people with social workers in all constituencies.
Other aspects discussed were those related to the increase in banking use, the use of alternative transportation, the sale of products in foreign currency and the contributions of the sponsors of constituencies, as well as the development of the territory by the Mipymes and the projects created with that objective, a management in which Guamajales and Mable are at the forefront.
