At the Telecommunications Center of Ciego de Ávila, the members of the line, cut, drop and cable brigades were recognized for their contribution to the reestablishment of the network in western Cuba after the passage of Hurricane Ian.
At the meeting, representatives of ETECSA management in the province and the municipality presented diplomas to those who gave their solidarity contribution, at a time when the country is going through a difficult economic situation.
In this sense, Wilfredo José Rodríguez Rodríguez, the highest representative of that company in the province, highlighted the value of the comrades and assured that it is a source of pride to have men within the collective who are willing to be there where the Revolution needs them the most.
Yanara Quintero León, general secretary of the Provincial Bureau of the Communications Union, emphasized that once again the comrades demonstrated humanism and unity, a gesture that makes us feel proud to be Cubans.
When they received the tribute, the members of the ETECSA brigades of lines, cuts, downspouts and cables in Ciego de Ávila ratified their willingness to be at the service of the homeland in any circumstance.
