In order to optimize the final result of its work, an entity producing Medicinal Plants of Ciego de Ávila, already has a first house of dried, with the necessary conditions for the regulatory process.

This agro-medicinal facility belongs to the Business Unit of Vegetable Production Base (UEB), of the Agroindustrial Company Ceballos, where the cultivation of turmeric, the Jamaican flower and Stevia, among other species, are included.

This UEB has a good time of experience in sowing and drying of plants with properties very close to medicines made in laboratories, which is why their work is important given the scarcity of various drugs, as one of the effects of the embargo suffered by the island.

The Ministry of Public Health in Cuba asks the Plants Program Medicinal more than 40 species to produce preparations that are within the basic medicine chart and among the most demanded there are the aloe vera, the anamú, the wall, the lime, the passion flower and the chamomile.
