Miguel Díaz-Canel, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, received Sergei Kudryashov, General Director of Zarubezhneft, on Tuesday.

At the meeting, the president conveyed to the visitor Cuba’s recognition of the work of this important Russian oil company, according to his X account.

Based in Moscow, Zarubezhneft JSC specialises in the exploration, development and operation of oil and gas fields outside Russian territory, and is carrying out projects in this Caribbean nation in conjunction with the Cuban company Cupet.
