Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (CC PCC) and President of the Republic, regretted the loss of human lives and material damage caused by the terrorist attacks in the cities of Derbent and Makhachkala in the Russian Republic of Dagestan.

From his account on X, the president sent, on behalf of Cuba, his solidarity for the aftermath of such vile acts.

«We regret the loss of human lives and the material damage caused by the terrorist attacks in the cities of Derbent and Makhachkala in the Russian Republic of Dagestan. Our sympathy goes out to all in the aftermath of such vile acts».

On the same social network, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, member of the Political Bureau and head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, sent heartfelt condolences to the people and government of the Russian Federation, which he extended to the families and relatives of the victims.

On Sunday 23 June, armed terrorists carried out attacks in the towns of Derbent and Makhachkala in the Russian region of Dagestan, killing 15 policemen and four civilians, including a priest.
