The Week of Culture in Morón, which ended this Sunday with the Festival of Winemakers, preceded by days which highlighted the talent and creations in the most diverse expressions of Art and Culture, had a successful performance with a special welcome.

The Club de Vinicultores La Trocha had samples from 14 winemakers, who presented 82 types of wines, such as sparkling, white, rosé, red, dry, semi-dry, sweet and semi-sweet,

The activity was enlivened by the musical group La Familia, the vocalist José Ramón Díaz, the poet Antonio Ramírez and the Grupo Finalis.

The Week of Culture also included a day dedicated to the «décima criolla», where poets and «repentistas» of the territory performed «tonadas criollas» and «controversias», an occasion in which homage was paid to relevant figures such as Evenelio Rodríguez and other poets who have sadly passed away, as well as to the radio programme Meridiano Campesino, the oldest in the country.

Other spaces were dedicated to dance with a special tribute to Vivían Díaz Guedes, as well as literary activities, plastic arts and the opening of the exhibition Mi Gallo, with the most relevant works of the contestants.

The theatre was present in several moments of the Week, where D’Morón Teatro stood out with its clay statues, comedians and the much-applauded clowns in each presentation.

This 42nd edition of the Culture Week in Morón deserves the recognition of the people to its organisers, not only to the participating artists, but also to the General Direction of Culture and to the directors of all the institutions, such as the Music Band, Casa de la Cultura, Museum, Library and Casa de la Trova, to name but a few.
